Little Woods (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Ollie Hale is serving probation in a North Dakota oil boomtown after she was caught crossing the border into Canada illegally. Eight days remain on her sentence, and she has applied for a job in Spokane. She gets by on odd jobs while offers to sell prescription medicine keep coming her way. Her sister Deb, from whom she has grown apart since their mother fell ill and died, is pregnant and asks for help. Deb already raises her son Johnny alone and parks the trailer she lives in illegally. Ollie offers to sign over their mother's house, but foreclosure is pending, and even after she talks the payment down the sum the sisters need looks out of reach. Before leaving, Ollie wants Deb settled, so she goes to the woods for the 500 pills she hid there before her crossing.
