Plot summary
A couple whose marriage is close to divorce take their teenage son and daughter to a historic hotel the family has taken on to renovate. While the work goes on, the two children uncover a collection of letters written decades earlier by two people who never met. The son and daughter decide to arrange a similar exchange of letters between their own parents, hoping the words bring back the warmth and affection the two of them once felt for each other and that the marriage is saved in time for Christmas. Christmas is approaching, and a land developer wants to buy the hotel from the family.
