Plot summary
Eva, Delfa and Chuy are sisters who seek to make a living the easy way. They trade on the poverty of rural families and on the innocence of young women, selling illusions rather than honest work. They approach Mr. Rosario to buy his daughters María and Adelina, telling him the girls will be employed as servants in a restaurant. The same promise draws other young women from poor families. The sisters run brothels that the authorities protect, and the women they gather there are abused and put to work as prostitutes. The girls are raped day and night and receive nothing in return, treatment worse than that given to beasts.
