Plot summary
A trumpet player in 1930s Havana, Pepe spends his free time in plots to bring down the government of Gerardo Machado. He does not know that he is a vampire. His uncle, Werner Amadeus von Dracula, a son of Count Dracula, has tested on him a formula that cancels the sun's deadly effect on vampires. A crime syndicate in Chicago wants that formula kept quiet to protect its indoor artificial beach resorts, while vampires from several European countries want to sell it as Vampisol. With the formula promised to vampires everywhere, Pepe and his girlfriend Lola are hunted through the city.
