Plot summary
Daniel and Alicia are engaged; Chris is a close friend traveling with them through rural Georgia. Chris tells Alicia privately that he wants to admit to Daniel that the two of them had an affair, and she refuses. The next morning he finds Devi, a former colleague of Alicia's, going through their belongings. While Devi photographs the three of them, Chris steps onto a landmine from the Russo-Georgian War and can no longer move. Devi offers to go for help, hours away. Alicia stays with Chris, and a hunter named Ilya and his dog come upon the pair. Ilya asks how they got there and begins making demands of Alicia.
