Plot summary
In the 1960s, Antonia Singla, a deaf Romani bailaora known as La Singla, rose to fame in flamenco, holding audiences with a powerful gaze and a commanding presence. She lost her hearing as a child. At the height of that fame she seemingly disappeared, and in the decades that followed she was all but forgotten. A young woman in Seville learns of her story and begins to piece it together. She works through research, interviews and archival footage of the dancer's performances, and the material starts to reveal a bigger picture of La Singla and of the career that took her to fame.
