Plot summary
Pedro and Jimi work land owned by Ruiz. The morning after gunshots sound in the woods, the brothers find a gutted body, and the trail leads them to a shack where an elderly woman, María Elena, is hiding with her sons, Uriel and Eduardo. Uriel is a Rotten, a man whose body houses a demon that has not yet been born. The dead man was a Cleaner, tasked with killing Uriel and carrying out the exorcism before the demon could pass to anyone else. The authorities dismiss the whole matter. Ruiz wants Uriel moved off his property and left elsewhere, so the men load him onto a truck and drive for hundreds of kilometers, then find the truck bed empty.
