Plot summary
Manuel Bianquetti works as a police inspector in Madrid until he is transferred to a precinct in Cádiz, a move meant to be a peaceful one. A young woman's body is discovered, and the case stirs a terrible episode from his past. His superiors oppose his part in the investigation. He works the case alone, chasing leads that may exist only in his own mind. A nurse who lives next door, fragile and harassed by a former partner, appears to be the only person on his side.
