Krvopijci (1989) on Netflix

Plot summary

Psychiatrist Franz Glogowecz receives a visitor at his isolated villa in Zagreb's Gornji Grad: Teobold Majer, who says he is a 16th-century vampire and wants Franz's services. He also claims that Franz's family, the Glogovac line, once produced famous vampire hunters. Franz dismisses the story and orders the man out. The city outside is quiet, its streets emptied by talk of a vampire preying on women, and Franz's young wife Barbara finds the visitor and his tale far more interesting than her husband does. Franz's estranged uncle Jambrek and Jambrek's son Jurek then arrive at the villa, and the housemaid Jalža, Jambrek's sweetheart from years ago, agrees to let them in without telling anyone.
