Plot summary
Raja Raja Kammath and Deva Raja Kammath sell dosa from a small stand, working to support their poor family. Praise for the food turns the stand into a restaurant, and the restaurant grows into a franchise with branches across South India. Their rival, Sulaiman Sahib, runs a non-vegetarian restaurant opposite a Brahmin vegetarian place that has closed down, and he wants that land. The brothers build a new restaurant inside the empty building. On opening day Sulaiman Sahib brings Mahalakshmi, the municipal secretary, and the ward counselor Sebastian Kuzhivelil to stop the launch. They fail, and the restaurant opens as Kammath & Kammath with its own license and ownership.
