Plot summary
ACP Sanjay Path Malhotra arrests the criminal Jayantilal "Ratan" Pandey, who escapes from the hospital where Malhotra's wife Geeta has just given birth to twins. The babies share a reflex, so what happens to one can be felt by the other. Ratan seizes one of them; Malhotra chases him, and the child is left on the railway tracks. That boy grows up as Raja, a small-time thief who adopts the orphan girl Neelam as his sister and teams with another orphan, Rangeela Prakash. Geeta is paralyzed by depression, and Malhotra takes her to the US, where the other twin, Prem, is raised. Prem returns to India as a rock star, and Kishan Sharma, a friend of Malhotra, hopes to marry his daughter Mala to Prem, though Mala loves Raja.
