Plot summary
Titles as a youth boxer are long behind Jimmy McCabe. He is an alcoholic, he is single, and he is about to lose his home. Hope is what he wants, but he has been searching for it in the wrong places. When he reaches his lowest point, he returns to the boxing club of his childhood, the club that holds the only family he has left. Bill owns the boxing gym, Eddie works his corner, and Joe is a promoter. He still has the ability to fight, and he is back in training, years after anyone counted him a contender.
