Plot summary
In a laboratory, federal agents use antifreeze to break down what is left of Jack Frost so they can test the remains. The procedure goes wrong: the snowman wakes, rebuilds himself and gets free. Sam Tiler has been trying to move past his own meeting with Jack the previous Christmas. His wife Anne proposes time in The Bahamas, where his deputy Joe is marrying Marla, and he agrees to go. Sam's blood was mixed into that antifreeze, so a psychic link joins him to Jack, who follows him south. Heat no longer thaws the snowman. Colonel Hickering, with assistants Captain Fun and Bobby, welcomes the visitors to his resort, and Agent Manners runs island security.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Jack Frost 2: The Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman (2000)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Most of Jack Frost 2's special effects were made in computer-generated imagery by Marsy Blasgen, Bill Cochran, John C. Hartigan and Richard Kratt rather than practically; Michael Cooney felt the snowman was "almost too improved", with the suit seen walking and moving its mouth on screen.
- Michael Cooney shot Jack Frost 2 in four weeks on an island in Southern California, in a digital widescreen format the crew struggled with; near-constant rain hindered their work, and "money people leaning on [them]" meant less creative freedom than the first film.
