Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Jabberwocky (1977)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The Jabberwock was a man in a costume designed to be worn walking backwards, with hip and knee joints reversed for a bird-like gait and the actor's head hidden inside the torso; the marionette head on a serpentine neck was worked by an offscreen pole and lines that are visible in the print.
- Director Terry Gilliam said on the DVD commentary that the Jabberwock's 'Death Fall' was an accident, caused when the actor tripped during filming, and was kept in the final print because the fall looked so natural.
