Plot summary
The town of Almor in Uttar Pradesh is home to the Chauhans and the Qureshis, two political families whose hostility goes back years. Parma Chauhan, the grandson of the patriarch Surya Chauhan, has a reputation as a troublemaker and struggles for validation within his own family. Zoya Qureshi, daughter of Aftab Qureshi, is assertive and wants a career in politics, but her conservative Muslim household discourages her. When an election campaign heats up, the two cross paths and clash again and again. What begins as hostility between them slowly turns into attraction, and the two find themselves drawn to each other even as their families remain at odds.
