Plot summary
A Qing general summons three Northern Shaolin experts to his estate to train the imperial troops: Bao Shanxiong of the Iron Palm, Xu Fang of the Whirling Kicks and Yang Zhongfei of the Butterfly Flail. Royal decree leaves them little choice, though each is secretly a Ming loyalist. The general sets the newcomers against the three Southern Shaolin instructors already training his soldiers, and the Northerners win. That night the Southern teachers die, and Captain Hua Shun carries word to their school, telling it that the Northerners are to blame. Master Mai Qi refuses to hear the three men out when they come seeking the truth.
