Japan is at war with China, and four Western generals fall into Japanese hands when the Chinese forces are attacked. Worried that word of the capture would damage morale among their soldiers, the Chinese turn to Captain Don Wen, who is given four days to assemble a commando squad and bring the generals out. Don Wen calls on his old crew: Old Sun, a thief, the escape artist Grease Lightning, the con artist Billy, and Lily, his former girlfriend. Sammy, a former wrestler, and Emily, who used to manage him, follow the squad in the hope of a share of the reward.
