Plot summary
Danny Davis, a defense lawyer, takes on the case of the McMartin family, who run a school for young children and are accused of child molestation. A mother initiates the case. Prosecutor Lael Rubin presses the charges against the family, including Virginia McMartin, Peggy Buckey and Ray Buckey. Kee McFarlane, a child-abuse therapist, videotapes the children describing abuse, and her findings are crucial to the prosecution. Wayne Satz is romantically involved with her.
