Plot summary
Julie Wagner has a husband devoted to her, a baby coming, family and friends nearby, and a photography career on the rise. Even so, she is by herself in Montauk in mid-December. She fills the cold days taking pictures for a solo show and the nights at her computer, unsure where her life is headed. A prickly composer and musician comes to her door with a strange request, and that meeting draws her toward hopes and fears she has set aside.
