In Circles (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

The assignment lands Lara, a reporter for a Brazilian television channel, in the English countryside, and it strikes her as nonsense: a small canal-side hamlet near Stonehenge where crop circles keep appearing overnight. She travels there with Yossi, a cameraman marked by war, to find out who makes the formations and why. In the village they cross paths with Hatter, who has investigated crop circles for years and is trying to reconnect with his son Dean. Aideen, who pulls beers in the local pub, appears to hold knowledge about the clandestine circle-making world, though she shows no hurry to share it. Among those they run into are UFO enthusiasts, researchers and landowners who resent the intrusion, while reports of hovering lights over the fields remain unexplained.
