Plot summary
Becket Redfellow grows up with his mother, Mary, who chose to keep her teenage pregnancy and was disowned by the wealthy Redfellow family. His childhood friend Julia Steinway comes from a rich family. Mary urges her son not to give up on the life he deserves.
