Plot summary
The toll booth where Brendan works his shifts alone is the quietest in Wales. He keeps to himself there, out of sight of a criminal past. Once someone rumbles him, news of where he is spreads, and his enemies want revenge and travel west. Catrin is a traffic cop in the area, working an investigation into a simple robbery. That case sends her toward the booth at the wrong time.
