Plot summary
Eleanor, a high school drama teacher, and Noam arrive at a luxury honeymoon suite in Jerusalem on their wedding night. Among the gifts is an envelope from Noam's ex-girlfriend Renana, and inside it Eleanor finds a ring. The discovery sets off a fight between the newlyweds. Eleanor decides that the marriage should begin on the right foot, which means the ring has to go back to Renana that same night, so the two of them leave the hotel. What was meant to be a private evening becomes a long walk through Jerusalem, bringing the couple face to face with former partners, unspoken doubts, and the single life that they have left behind.
