Plot summary
Linda lives alone, and her days go into painting and exercise classes. She is looking for a friend, and her attention fixes on Michelle, an interior designer who has just married Robert and who is reserved and deferential. Linda presses her into a visit, a spontaneous interior design consultation at her home. Inside, decorating is plainly not the point; Linda has something far more sinister in mind.
