Plot summary
Five friends who studied together at a Historically Black University in the 1990s have kept in touch since graduation, though the group has drifted somewhat apart over the years. Now in their late thirties, they return to campus for Homecoming weekend and stay in the house that was their off-campus dorm during their student years. Word reaches them there that one of the group has recently died. The loss turns the reunion toward the past the five of them shared, and over the weekend they revisit their college years, renew old bonds, and take stock of the lives they have built since school.
