Plot summary
Gus Hilmer owns garages, property and a junkyard, and he has money enough to live as he likes. He falls for Julie, a showgirl, and marries her although she is many years younger than he is. Frank is the young auto mechanic employed at the garage. Gus has befriended him and treats him like a son, and the marriage brings tension between the two men. An emotional attachment grows between Julie and Frank.
