Plot summary
Ruby Ann Wattz wakes from a dream into a basement where she is being held. Both her legs are broken, and she cannot say who she is or how she came to be there. Tom Allcroft, the man keeping her, tells her he will hold her until she loves him. She has no memory to draw on and no way past him, and getting out of the room is the one thing she works at.
