Plot summary
Susan Carter was a scientist who treated addicts at an experimental rehabilitation center called The Sanctuary, where she tested a controversial drug. After her death, the property passes to her son Brian, who is surprised to inherit a building he believed had burned to the ground years earlier. His friend Simon urges him to make the trip, so Brian sets out with Simon and five other friends. At the monastery-like building they are met by Haley, a friend of Brian's mother, who acts as their guide. Walking the halls and rooms, the visitors come to sense that something sinister lies beneath the surface of the place.
