Plot summary

Lam Chi Wing is a sassy young woman who deeply admires the pop singer Rose and Rose's boyfriend Sam, a record producer and songwriter. Rose owes her stardom to Sam, who groomed her. Sam now wants to launch a male singer and announces a males-only talent search, which upsets Rose. Wing, determined to meet the pair, enters the contest disguised as a man, and her childhood friend Yu Lo trains her to carry off the idea. The poor quality of the other hopefuls, and Rose's taunts about Sam's plan, help Wing through the audition. Sam then invites Wing to stay at his and Rose's home for musical training, where Wing tries to mend the differences between the two lovers.
