Plot summary
Mei's people, the Special Power Clan, have sent her from Mainland China to bring her brother Sing home, because he used his powers to win a gambling competition. Sing is traveling the world, so she cannot find him at their uncle Blackie Tat's home. Chan Chung, Sing's former boss in Taiwan, wants him back to represent Taiwan at another world gambling competition. With Sing missing, Blackie Tat looks for someone with similar abilities to take his place, and finds Fanny, a local gambler known as the Queen of Gambling. She is a con artist who has been fooling the fishmongers, and she agrees to act as if she has powers, since she needs money for her younger brother's care.
