Plot summary
Paramedic Maddie is awakened by a smoke alarm when Alice, her eighteen-year-old daughter, calls in a panic. Alice has stormed off in her father Frank's car, struck a girl on a remote road, and needs help. Maddie and Frank drive to reach her while Maddie talks her through CPR on the phone. Alice says she has crushed the girl's chest, then admits she is high on MDMA and never called emergency services. Frank urges her to leave the body and get back in the car.
