Plot summary
The two American soldiers Tommy Turner and Gilbert Simpson care more about women than about their World War I duties. In Paris they slip away without leave, pose as officers to charm the women they meet, and dodge the military police hunting them. They steal Colonel Marshall's car by accident, and that is how Tommy meets Annette. Tommy courts her without knowing that she is the youngest daughter of Colonel Marshall, his own commanding officer. Gilbert meets Olga, who takes an interest in him.
