Plot summary
Two men set out after the man who has wronged them: a prisoner who has escaped and a husband who was abandoned. They meet El Pistolero, a gunman who takes paid work and enjoys the company of women, and they bring him into the hunt. The man they are chasing has risen far since they knew him. He is now the sheriff of a town and keeps armed men around him. El Pistolero has a reason of his own for accepting the job. He means to make it his last, and afterward to leave the trade and settle with a prostitute.
