Plot summary
Shivani Mathur leads the inquiry into a man found dead in his home, a case the police first take for a burglary. A neighbor's selfie captures the suspect, and ACP Dhiren Yadav orders the arrest of Arjun Sehgal, who works in real estate. Doubts set in when Sooraj is brought in for disorderly conduct and looks exactly like Arjun. Three months earlier, Arjun was occupied with his property dealings and his engagement to Jahnvi, a film critic, while Sooraj, a small-time conman, had cheated a mob boss who seized his friend Chaddi and demanded two million rupees. On the night of the murder, both men turn up with similar injuries.
