Plot summary
Tanisha Gandhi brings her boyfriend Montu to the family home, where everyone welcomes him except her father, Hasmukh. Hasmukh sees Montu as a trickster and does not want his daughter entrapped. His choice for her is Bakul Buch, his office manager and Tanisha's childhood friend, who has long held a soft spot for her but is too shy to speak to any woman. Hasmukh decides to turn the simple Bakul into a cool gujju, and stages a link between Bakul and the superstar Soniya Kapoor, Tanisha's favorite, with photos and videos that spread. The invented romance is meant to impress Tanisha, and Montu watches the pair closely.
