Plot summary
Gloria has finished a three-year prison term she served so that Kevin, her boyfriend, would go free. During those years he never came to see her, and once she is out she tells him the relationship is finished. What she wants from him is the payment he promised for her taking the blame, and he refuses to give it. Meanwhile, the outfit's accountant has put together a computer disk holding the names of those involved in its criminal dealings, hoping it will keep him safe. The plan fails. One of Kevin's henchmen, trying to get the disk, shoots the accountant and three members of his family. Nicky, the accountant's young son, gets away, but he is seized soon after and ends up in Kevin's apartment, where Gloria meets him. She must decide whether to risk her life for the boy.
