Plot summary
Elizabeth Oren and her father James are being evicted when a mysterious letter arrives on the same day. It tells them they have inherited Echoville Manor, a sprawling estate of thirty-seven rooms. Elizabeth arrives at the estate to find the mansion is inhabited by Ghoster, a spirit who has spent fifty years trapped inside a mirrored prison there. The two of them set out to uncover the secrets of Echoville so that Ghoster can be freed. Yuto, a ghost dragon in pursuit of immortality, wants to capture the spirit's soul for himself, and Elizabeth and her father are in his path too.
