Plot summary
Lankala Rathna's journey runs from rags to riches, taken with grit and determination across Eluru and the Godavari coastal regions of India. He is an underdog from a village in that region, and he seeks to avenge his father's death and to stand as the area's most powerful figure. Violence and criminal activity are the means by which he rises to prominence, and they place him inside a series of gang conflicts. That fighting escalates, and it reaches both Rathna and the people around him. Bujji, Rathnamala, Nanaji, Geddha Raju, Murthy and Doraswamy Raju are among the other figures in the story.
