Plot summary
Shiva is a cheerful young man who supports love marriages and helps couples wed when their parents object. Traveling by train, he spots Tanu in a field nearby, loudly proposing as part of a rehearsal for an audition; her friend Rishitha praises the performance. Shiva takes it as meant for him, jumps off the train and follows her to the school where she practices for the theater, though she keeps refusing him. He arranges the wedding of his friend Rishi and her lover, and asks Tanu to come back to him if her feelings are real, saying he will otherwise leave her life. Then men sent by the gangster Bhoji Reddy arrive to beat him for striking Bhoji Reddy's son.
