Plot summary
Ng Kau Sau once ruled badminton as its queen, until her expulsion from the sport ended her career and she left the game behind. She crosses paths with a strange group: Lau Dan, a scar-faced man who lost his hearing, and his friends Lam Chiu, who has one arm, Ma Kun, who is visually impaired, and a drunken master who lies on the ground. Ten years earlier these men were notorious robbers; released from jail, they chose to go straight and formed the Lau Dan Badminton Club. Impressed by them, Ng Kau Sau joins Dan and trains with the club in earnest, aiming to enter the competition with them.
