Full Moon in Paris (1984) on Netflix

Plot summary

Louise has lately finished her studies in the arts. She lives with Rémi, an architect and her lover, in Marne-la-Vallée, a suburb about 20 miles from the center of Paris. She also keeps a small flat of her own in the city as a pied-à-terre. Feeling confined by the relationship, she tells Rémi that she means to spend more of her evenings in the flat, alone, and to go to parties. He dislikes the idea. When Louise's friend Camille gives a party, Rémi turns up late, does not enjoy himself and leaves early, which upsets Louise. She redecorates the flat and moves in.
