Plot summary
Dan Walker, his girlfriend Parker O'Neil and his best friend Joe Lynch spend a day on the slopes of a New England ski resort. On their final evening, with weather coming in, they talk the lift operator into one last run down the mountain. He is relieved by a second operator and tells him that three people still need to come down. The second operator spots three skiers mingling and takes them for the friends, then shuts the lift down and strands Dan, Parker and Joe high above the ground. The resort is closed for the week, and no one knows where they are. A snowstorm arrives as the hours pass, and a snow groomer passes below the chair without its driver noticing them.
