Plot summary

Diamond heiress Katherine is the mark. Hazel, her boyfriend Ade, his cousin James and Mark give themselves six weeks to take her, because Ade is soon due in court over the death of his brother George. Mark fears the rush will cause mistakes, but he agrees to the plan. After six weeks the four enter Katherine's house and meet no resistance; the alarm is already off. They chain her up at an abandoned warehouse, where her dirty, sickly appearance takes them aback. She wants to be freed and refuses to record a ransom message until Hazel promises that cooperation will shorten the ordeal. Unable to reach her parents with the demand, Hazel orders Ade and James to go back and look at the house.
