Plot summary
At NASA, Dr. Adam Steele, his assistant Karen Grant and General Bowers present Colonel Frank Saunders as an astronaut bound for a long space flight, keeping from reporters that Saunders is an android designed by Steele. Meanwhile, an atomic war has killed every woman on Mars except Princess Marcuzan, who crosses space with Dr. Nadir to collect women from Earth and keep the Martian race going. The Martian craft lands on San Juan, Puerto Rico, and its crew takes Saunders's capsule in the air for an attack and shoots the ship down. The android's electronic brain and half his face are damaged by a ray gun, and he wanders the island. Steele and Karen head to Puerto Rico to rescue him while the Martians abduct young women.
