Frank vs. God (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

David Frank was once a successful corporate attorney. After his wife died, he spent his days at home in a bathrobe, with his dog Brutus for company. One day a tornado destroyed his house while he was out. His insurance company told him it would not pay, because the policy excludes damage from an act of God. Left with nothing, David decided someone should answer for the loss. He sued God, and leaders of several faiths were named in the case as co-defendants.
