Plot summary
Derek is producing and starring in Spectre Of Death, the first 3D found footage horror movie, which he and his crew plan to shoot at a cabin in remote Central Texas. His brother Mark is hired to shoot the behind-the-scenes material. Amy, the lead actress, is Derek's wife, and their marriage is breaking up; her contract was signed before they separated. The script is about a feuding couple in a rural cabin, and on the drive Derek tells the group the real cabin is reputed to be haunted, because the man who owned it before killed his wife and left her body nearby. The news upsets Carl, the sound technician. On set Derek overrules Amy and the director Andrew, and the arguments between them spill into the scenes they are filming.
