Plot summary
Inspector Rizzo works in Naples. A policeman in South Africa sends him word that he wants a meeting. The meeting never takes place: the man is killed before it, and in his dying moments he shows Rizzo a photograph of Bodo, his young son. Rizzo travels to Johannesburg. He wants to find out what the South African policeman had been working on, and he wants to find the boy.

- While filming in South Africa, Bud Spencer tried to eat with Baldwyn Dakile, the child actor playing Bodo, at a Johannesburg restaurant, but Dakile was denied entry under apartheid. Spencer refused to eat there too, and a police chief warned him he would be expelled from the country if he repeated it.
- Because the film was set in South Africa, which was ostracized internationally over its apartheid, it was not shown in the GDR, East Germany.
