Plot summary
In Baltimore, Durell Washington and his friend LeeJohn Jackson get by as small-time crooks, and their schemes keep failing. Durell's ex, Omunique, plans to take their son, Durell Jr., to Atlanta unless he helps with the lease on her hair salon, and a con man named Blahka is pressing him for money too. LeeJohn's answer is to rob the neighborhood church, and Durell goes along. In the church office they interrupt a meeting of the congregation, among them Pastor Arthur Mitchell and his daughter Tianna. Durell announces a holdup and fires a shot into the air. The collection money is already gone, so the pair holds everyone inside while the police pass by outside.
