Plot summary
In 1980s Britain, Ray has seen socialism fade and turned to robbing banks. He lives with his girlfriend Connie and with Stevie. Ray joins Dave, Stevie, Julian and Jason to plan a raid on a London security depot that should bring them at least £2 million. They use a lorry as a battering ram to break in and get away before the police arrive. Counting the money afterward, the five find the haul is almost all small notes, about £340,000, or £68,000 each. Julian asks for more to cover his expenses, and is beaten and shut in Ray's car boot until he accepts his share.
