Plot summary
Rollie Tyler builds toys in New York City, and Kim Brandon's ex-husband, the police detective Mike Brandon, asks him to help catch a murderer who targets models and who was freed after serving a reduced sentence. Rollie rigs an apartment with hidden cameras and watches from elsewhere as Mike moves in to make the arrest. An unidentified assailant kills Mike, and Mike's superior, Ray Silak, shoots the wanted man. Silak is sure only two people were in the apartment. Rollie is not, and he leaves a camera behind. He asks Leo McCarthy, a former detective who now works as a private investigator, for help.
